Savannah Fashion Week

Savannah Fashion Week is a collection of independent retailers promoting fashion and beauty within the Savannah area. A special series of events will take place, during the week of April 22-26th, 2013, focusing on the unique style of all the participating retailers.

We will kick off the third annual SFW2012 on Monday April 22, with day events on the Islands and Midtown, Tuesday April 23 in the Downtown Design District and Wright Square area, and on Wednesday April 24th on Broughton Street, which will lead up to the finale fashion show at the Lucas Theatre on Thursday, April 25th at 7:30. This year, we will have an encore fashion event on Friday April 26th. SFW2013 is teaming up with SID, a collection of independent Savannah designers, and will have a designer only based fashion show Friday. More details to come.

Join us from 12- 5:30 Monday April 22nd for a special Savannah Fashion Week event. Sara Jane Children’s Boutique will be hosting a trunk show, presenting items from The Beaufort Bonnet Company, as well as a chance to design your own graphic tee with local designer Winslett Watson from Back Yard Baby. TBBC trunk show will offer a variety of classic upscale items for little southern belles and gents such as bonnets, bucket hats, diaper covers and much more. Back Yard Baby will have their unique personalized t-shirts and items for order as well as a chance to make one of kind t-shirt designs.

Fabrika Fine Fabrics will be hosting a Trunk Show on Tuesday, April 23rd from 12noon-6pm.
The up-and-coming designers showing for Fabrika will have work for sale that represents the looks that you will see on the runway during the Savannah Fashion Week show on April 25th. For example, menswear designer, Michael Mann, will have handmade ties and bow ties available. Katherine Barron will have prints of her original designs for sale. And Nicole Edge will have a variety of wearable pieces representing her edgy design aesthetic available for purchase.
In addition, we will be hosting SCAD's Fibers Force as part of the Trunk Show, so there will be a variety of work by numerous incredibly talented Fibers artists.
So stop by to see and purchase locally handmade pieces!

On April 23rd we'll be joined by an aspiring Fashion Designer, Sabrina Spanta, who is in the emerging designer contest for Charleston Fashion Week 2013.
